The Sacred Alchemy of Quiet Fire

Updated: Aug 4

A Source of Transformative Power For Our Lives.

Deep within our psychic caves, into the farthest reaches of our being, beyond all forms of matter, beyond, even, our DNA, lives a highly alchemical psychicscapes of raw primordial power. A highly evolved, intelligence, the domain of stillness and of chaos. A void of nothingness where everything can become into being. Here, in these mysterious and secretive places, resting in the eternal darkness of creation blazes the gentle fierceness of Quiet Fire.

Quiet Fire is the only true source of creation and of creativity and while being a part of us, is also autonomous of us. Here in these shamanic depths lies the power and the wisdom to create, shape and build our lives. Only, this power and these wisdoms are not for our taking. We can not go there for the purpose of retrieving valuables. The spirit of Quiet Fire is the guardian of the power of this place and thus must be acknowledged as one of our elder spirit guides, if not the most oldest and wisest parts of our own spirit.

Quiet Fire can be encountered however, through meditative and sacred resting practices and periods of time. We will become aware of noticing a stillness of our being, yet also of feeling highly alchemical, yet with no desire to act, only a profound need to be still and present in the presence of something entirly unfathomable. In these moments we are in contact with a source power capable of transforming our lives. This is not a spirit we can ask something of with words, our language is primitive and unable to express needs, yet we can meet the spirit of Quiet Fire with an open true heart, and allow our feelings to flow from our felt sensing being into the psychic caves and towards the Quiet Fire spirit with an intention that the spirit may be receptive.

Quiet Fire spirit needs a quiet being. This does not mean that we need to be serene or meditate for hours all day long, only that we do need to hold space for ourselves to be grounded and present, rested and observing, and oriented from our centre, our still point if we truly want to receive alive transformative power from our source. We can hold space for ourselves a little each day or plan for it as a sacred practice or even as a longer lifestyle choice for a period of time. We can bring our awareness to our Quiet Fire spirit simple by a thought.

Herein lies the magic in the grounded and present approach of noticing. And in the acceptance that this is not a place that we can 'draw energy from' or explore to seek our insights and wisdom. This is a sacred place deep within our being, that is a part of us, yet not, that is wholly untouched by us, yet can change our lives through the subtlest or most dramatic of changes that support our lives in the most positive of ways. Allowing us to be nourished by life, to create and grow as human beings, to provide and build and to feel joy and freedom of expression.

The psychicscapes of Quiet Fire are watery depths within us where art is conceived as though from a dream, where spirit guide whispers dance upon the starry deep and where prayers go to be fulfilled and mourned. Tending our psychic caves through holding space for ourselves to be still, rested and unanimated puts us in closer contact with the Quiet Fire Within. Allowing ourselves to be in closer contact with creative transformative power and offering ourselves the conditions necessary for the realisation of raw insights for personal, creative and spiritual growth.

A Blessing For Quiet Fire

Rest now, though do not sleep,

The moon is high, an' the tide is deep,

Where dreams once were, the fairies weep,

The wind does whisper and the sky does speak,

Beneath the bough that moans and creeks,

Rest now, though do not sleep.

Yours in the sacred psychic caves,

Mags Black.

Oh Priestess, the poetry is very beautiful. A lullaby you could sing to a child...well, except the do not sleep part. Of course, if you want a child to sleep probably the best thing to do IS to tell them not to. Thank you for the wonderful words of insight.

Bright Blessings.
